This 2020 Annual Bell, #33 by the Belleek Pottery is called the Annalong Cornmill inspired by an Irish Cornmill in Annalong, County Down, Northern Ireland. In operation since the early 1800s, the busy Cornmill milled oats supplied by local farmers into oatmeal. Closed by the 1960s, the beautifully restored mill now houses an exhibition showing the milling process in detail. The waterwheel which powered the mill proudly stands at the side and can still be seen working. Hand painted on both sides, the intricate work of the painters highlight the mill doors, sacks of corn, magnificent waterwheel and lucky shamrock! Handcrafted at the historical Belleek Pottery, the Annalong Cornmill is the 33nd Annual Ornament. Available today, but remember, this 2020 Annual Ornament will retire at the end of the year. Only 1.8" x 3.3", this Belleek Ornament will arrive in a Red Belleek Holiday box, rich in history.
